Best dive in Augusta. Best crew working behind the bar and really make you feel at home. As a woman I've never felt safer at a bar than I do here, knowing everyone here is watching out and taking care of one another. I absolutely love it here and you will too.

Fantastic vibes and great service. Drink prices are fair. The best part is the live music they host from local bands, or karaoke nights. A must see if you are looking for the local flavor of Augusta. There's dinner for everyone here

I recently went through a total Laryngectomy Surgical procedure. Before I totally lost my voice due to throat cancer, my brother treated me to a night out. We started the night at Joe's, walked Broad St., shot some pool at another establishment, and ended up back at Joe's as intended. Joe's was the best part of the night! We had the best conversations there! Some of my last conversations with him. Normally, the draft beer & juke box being down would be negatives!!! But, for that night, other than the bartender, we were the only 2 customers in the place! I t created an intimate and wonderful evening for me & my brother! We still got our drinks, talked the night away, & had a magical night! Here it is, over 2 weeks later, after 12 hours worth of surgery, 1 & 1/2 days in i.c.u., plus 7 days in the hospital... Never able to speak again... I'll never forget that night at Joe's Underground! Thank u!

Look. If you are looking for fun dive bar. This is place. I am usually solo and always completely. If you guve bartender look when a scary person is near they almost always help. ( when i say this took 2 of blink blink hug rando) but they caught. I still felt safe go have fun. Drinks great food is not fried in oil. Air fryer of sorts from what told. But fun place and enjoy

This is a cool spot! There was a $5 cover on Friday night for a live hip hop group, jello shots at the door, cheap drinks and friendly staff/customers. Check this place out!

Absolutely dive bar. Which is good. 5 stars. Bartender played his own mix from his phone as we played darts. Awesome experience.

One of my favorite places ever down here. I don’t drink much like I used to, but the prices of the non-alcoholic drinks alone, the cheap “basic drinks” and yummy drink specials make this worth a visit. Always a good time to go with friends, make new friends, and become more outgoing. If you’re an alternative person living here, it’s a must. 🩷
